2 yrs before i acquired Easy-On Gutter Pads from Costco Gutter Guards for $2 per foot. That is my evaluation and view of how they’ve worked. They have organized great. Zero damage, zero blocks, and for 90% of the gutters – they are functioning perfectly. The sole problem are the Bright Pine needles. They are therefore little that they get stuck in the fine mesh. That being said – had i ordered the cheaper gutter pads – the issue could have been significantly much worse.
The needles are getting caught, however they aren’t getting through the mesh. They are only collecting on the top. The gutters still work and are not around streaming, in the wintertime they freeze and sit on the gutter. I could probably just leave them, but once per year i still get up there and comb off the needles. It’s possible that because area, pads that use area pressure may possibly have worked better, but who knows. So over all i am satisfied with the Simple On gutter protections, glad i didn’t go cheap, but if you have small needles, you might want to check in to getting something else.
